I know each of us can make the world a better place. If we utilize the 3 things Paul suggests here.

If we are truly transformed we must live like it or we discount the meaning of the word Christian.

This is the capstone of this section of Paul’s letter:
“For me living is Christ, dying is gain.” Christ is everything to him.

Paul says whether from false motives or true, Christ is
preached, and because of this I rejoice, yes, I will continue to rejoice.

We see that Paul had much success promoting the Gospel while inside the prison walls or better yet, in his cottage. But how about the impact he had in the church, in the city of Rome?

Today’s message is for everyone who desires a closer walk with Jesus and a closer connection with other believers

Let’s let Christ’s love motivate us to love other Christians the way Paul loved the church at Philippi. We are all part of God’s family and we should all be transformed by God’s love.

I find 3 types of love in Scripture. Christ’s love, Christian love and chastening love. Have you ever recognized God’s love? And are you showing Christian love?

Dynamic faith involves the whole man: intellect, emotion and, our will.

Spiritual maturity is loving Jesus and becoming more like Him while loving others. Christianity is a “relationship” with Jesus in which we are learning to love Him more and more and become more and more like him.

Stewardship itself means simply that we are managing something that is really owned by someone else. Well, that someone is God.

Admonishing one another is one of the most difficult things a church body can do but God calls us to do it on occasion. I think it’s important to understand that the goal of any judging is restoration.

You don’t have to live in a world of hurt and doubt. You don’t have to cry alone. There is encouragement for you in the deepest darkest parts of your life.

There is something special about entering God’s presence by yourself to talk to Him in secret. Are we doing this often enough?

Let’s see how we can splash each other with the love God desires to fill and overflow our empty hearts.

Because He lives, we know we are loved, and that we can love others. Because He lives, there is hope and power.

God promised Joshua that everywhere they placed their feet in the Promised Land, God will give them that territory. It’s really a small portion compared to the territory that OIC has from God. We have the entire world arriving at our doorsteps every Sunday. God calls us to be the light of the world
. “You are the light of the world.
