Here is the fundamental content of the gospel message: that in fulfillment of the Old Testament
Scriptures, the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead, and then the apostles are to proclaim,
in Christ’s name, the message of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Repentance for the
forgiveness of sins. This is the way of salvation.
